What is encapsulation? In short, encapsulation uses a cleaning solution that contains acrylic polymers. These polymers attach to oils, dirt, and grime and crystalizes them which breaks their bond to the carpet fibers. Once the crystals are dry, they break down to be simply vacuumed away!

Why is the VLM (Very Low Moisture) encapsulation cleaning method better than hot water extraction? While hot water extraction does remove soil, it tends to leave behind oils and other grime that have attached to the carpet fibers. Hot water extraction uses soaps, which, if not completely removed from your carpets, will attract dirt quickly, making your carpets look dull and dirty shortly after they are cleaned. Encapsulation does not use soapy chemicals so no soapy residue left behind to attract that dirt! With no soapy residue, your carpets stay cleaner, longer! Hot water extraction uses a lot of water. This can not only lead to damaging the backing of your carpet, possibly even voiding your warranty and limiting the lifespan of your carpet, it also takes hours, sometimes even days to dry. With our VLM encapsulation method, the drying times are 3 hours or less, generally even as little as 30 minutes to an hour.
-
Do you clean commercial carpets? Most definitely! Our VLM encapsulation method is most ideal for commercial businesses! With the quick drying times, there is very little “down time” so you can get back to business! We also do carpet cleaning for property management companies! Contact us to request a quote today!

What is this "Filtration Soil" you've shown on Facebook? You know that black dark staining all around the edge of your carpet by the baseboards? That's not just a shadow, that's dirt, more specifically Filtration Soiling. Filtration Soiling occurs when air pours into a room faster than it can escape, usually when you turn up the heat or AC. Air coming from your HVAC system flows cold or warm air into the room forcing the old air to escape anywhere it can, often under baseboards. The carpet fibers by the baseboards act as a filter and catch all the dirt, debris, dust, dead skin cells, etc. as the air is escaping. After time, that debris builds up, staining the carpet fibers and causing the dark edges around your room. Give us a call to get an estimate to remove that nasty built up dirt!
